Baltimore (Week 18)

1 day away! The Steelers completed their preparation for week 18 game yesterday and traveled to Baltimore today. It appears that Elandon Roberts will be playing and Minkah Fitzpatrick has an outside chance to play. On the offensive side of the football, the Steelers are going to have to control the line of scrimmage and run the ball as effectively as they did over the last several weeks. When they played the Ravens earlier in the year, they only were able to get 86 yards on the ground, but since then have really piled on the rushing yards. The Steelers now are 12th in the NFL in terms of rushing offense. This needs to be what the Steelers do well on Saturday to continue this success.

The Ravens are resting a large number of players including Lamar Jackson. By no means does this mean the Steelers have an “easy win.” However, the Steelers can win this game if they play well. They need to win this game. With that being said, I hope they come out aggressive and energized early in this game. I think a lead in this game will go a long way to securing victory.

I spent a lot of time on the podcast this week discussing why they should be optimistic going into this game. The Steelers play the Ravens well, regardless of who is playing. They have everything to play for and have a lot of confidence going into this week. I think they ride this wave and get the W in Baltimore and put the pressure on Buffalo and Jacksonville.

My final prediction: Steelers 20 Ravens 14; Tennessee 24 Jacksonville 13; Buffalo 27 Miami 24
