Thoughts 12/12/2023:

Pittsburgh Steeler fans, you had a lot of time on their hands this past weekend to watch other teams play football. This gave a lot of you the opportunity to watch other offenses, QBs, WRs that you normally do not have (since you are watching the Steelers each week). The volume of people that have fallen into the trap of comparing Kenny Pickett to other QB’s week 14 performances is very high. So many people were disparaging our QB with comparisons to individual games, and sometime individual throws other QBs were making last weekend. This is folly and not fair. I encourage you to do the following: look up the highlights of all the games Kenny Pickett has played in the NFL, specifically the games last season this year against LV, LA, and Cincinnati. There is plenty of evidence to support that Kenny CAN make the throws, he CAN win games, he CAN perform at a high level. Remind yourself of that when wishing Joe Flacco was your QB this week.
