Arizona Cardinals

The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off a huge, road AFC North win in week 12. They face a rebuilding Arizona Cardinal team that lost last week in a blowout loss to the LA Rams. Coach Tomlin’s Tuesday press conference just ended and it seems the Steelers are excited about building off last week’s performance. The Steelers are 4-2 at Acrisure Stadium, while the Cardinals have not won on the road this year.

The things I am looking for this week include the continued utilization of 3 tight end sets, pulling offensive lineman, and pass distribution in both location and targets. I enjoyed watching Kenny Pickett throw the ball with confidence and conviction last week. I think he will build off that experience and have another solid game.

Last week Kenny Pickett set a franchise record of 7 straight games without an interception. The last interception he threw was in week 4 against the Texans.

TJ Watt now leads the NFL in sacks with 13.5. In addition, his other stat lines are making him a leading candidate for both Defensive NFL MVP and NFL MVP.

Later this week I will discuss the Steelers rushing attack with some statistics that will excite everyone looking forward to this game!
