Great news for the Pittsburgh Steelers today! Minkah Fitzpatrick was a full participant at practice today. The usual suspects were held out from practice for “resting,” these included Cameron Heyward, Patrick Peterson, Alan Robinson, Isaac Seumalo.

After review of the All-22 tape, there is a lot to be excited for going forward. The Steelers used formations and personnel groups differently in Cincinnati compared to their previous games this season. As an example, they had previously utilized 13 personnel (1 running back 3 tight ends) mainly to run the ball prior to this weekend; however, in Cincinnati they threw out of that set and overall used it more. This is a good sign that the Steelers are breaking tendencies to be less predictable. Other positives from the tape included Kenny Pickett down the field throwing, Offensive Line improvements in pass protection, Trenton Thompson looking like a starting safety, and Nick Herbig being shot out of a cannon for a sack on 1 of his 3 snaps.

I am much more excited than I am nervous going into this weekend! This is a good thing!
