Baltimore (Immediate Thoughts)

Pittsburgh Steelers continue to stay alive! They went to Baltimore and have won again. That makes seven of the last 8 and 3 IN Baltimore. The Steelers battled the Ravens and the weather with a healthy dose of running the football. Najee ran for 112 yards on 26 carries while Jaylen added 33 on 9 carries. Mason had a few mistakes with fumbles but didn’t throw any interceptions and only had two incompletions (18-20). It is crazy to think that the Steelers end the regular season 10-7 and 5-1 in the toughest division, but still could miss the playoffs. The Steelers will be watching tonight and tomorrow’s games hoping for one of three scenarios: Houston/Indianapolis tie, Jacksonville loss, or Buffalo loss.

I think everyone in Steeler nation should be proud of the way this team finished the season. This team had a lot of doubt swirling around them when they lost 3 in a row, but they battled and never gave up. They found a way to win their final three games with their 3rd string quarterback. I am proud of this team and the coach.

I will be watching all the games the rest of this weekend and have my final thoughts on this game (and possibly the season) over the next few days.
